EPAMOULD 175A56
Description
EPAMOULD 175A56 is a plasticized thermoplastic polyurethane based on saturated polyesters, with good resistance to abrasion by oils and fats.
It is characterized by excellent fluidity, low temperature profiles and cycle times, excellent adhesion to most PU systems and minimal surface output.
We recommend Epamould 175 A 56 for molding soles, technical products and mixes.
Specifications:
Density ISO 1183 1.21 Kg / dm3
Hardness ISO 868 75 Shore A
Tensile Strength - Breaking Strength EN 12803 30 MPa
Elongation at break EN 12803 650%
Tear resistance (notched) ISO 34 75 KN / m
Abrasion resistance EN 12770 50 mm3
The indicated values were obtained in the laboratory on samples manufactured under standard conditions. They are indicative only and do not constitute a product delivery specification.
The characteristics of thermoplastic polyurethane products may be affected by their geometry and processing parameters. Therefore, they should be tested on finished products with reference to their actual production and conditions of use.
Packing and storage
EPAMOULD 175A56 is supplied in heat-sealable 25 kg bags, on 1000 kg pallets or in 500 kg octabines each. The shelf life of EPAMOULD 175A56 is 12 months if the product is stored in its original sealed packaging.
Material preparation
For best results, it is recommended that you always dry your Epamould products before use. Recommended pretreatment conditions for EPAMOULD 175A56 - 3 hours at 95 ° C in a ventilated dryer.
Equipment
Injection presses with three-stage screws with diameters from 40 to 60 mm and L / D ratios of 20/1 to 30/1 are usually suitable for injection molding. The use of screws with a diameter greater than 65 mm and / or with high compression ratios is not recommended.
Recommended operating conditions for injection molding
STEP A ° C 160 - 180
STEP B ° C 165 - 185
STAGE C ° C 160 - 180
NOZZLE ° C 155 - 175
